Nothing is more satisfying than stories of revenge!
At 18th and Union, Pacific Play Company will present a playwrights festival as an appetizing selection of hilarious and thought-provoking short plays and monologues based on the sizzling theme of revenge. Eight actors and nine playwrights will offer a fast-paced, suspenseful evening one will not soon forget!
PPC has the ultimate battle between the Evil Queen and Snow White, poisoned laundry, a woman so frustrated she burns her house down, and a serial killer willing to tell it all for a bag of flaming hot Funyuns!
All the playwrights are local and spent four weeks writing and re-writing the plays, having been given a different revenge themed prompt every week such as: Unconventional Joy, Talion, The Hunt: Cycle of Retaliation, and Resilience.
Outrageous hijinx are in store, while you enjoy a nice cold beverage and the cool breeze of air conditioning at the theatre. (Orrrrrrrrrrrrrr… catch it in the comfort of you own home via streaming access.)
