For the past 2 years, Arson Nicki, Drag Producer-Extraordinaire, has hosted quarterly editions of FRESH, an evening of performances by new drag talent. Now Nicki brings it all together this weekend at 18th & Union. Freshfest comprises 25 drag performers, 6 shows, 4 days, and one festival.See one show or see them all!

All ages admitted, content is intended for ages 18+. Multi-show packages are available.

The Year of Magical Thinking- Enough Magic for a Year

This is one show that REALLY deserved its standing ovation.

Quadruple bypass surgery is mentioned in this adaptation of Joan Didion’s memoir, The Year of Magical Thinking and it gave me the right adjective to describe the production. Quadruple Winner, because the script, the acting, the directing and the tech work, all were worthy of the title: Magical.

Village Theatre is excited to announce the lineup for The 19th Annual Festival of New Musicals, a series of five staged readings of musicals currently in development. The Festival will take place in Issaquah August 9-11, 2019. Village Theatre’s Festival of New Musicals is the birthplace of Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning shows such as Next to Normal and Million Dollar Quartet, as well as Broadway and Off-Broadway hits: It Shoulda Been You, Desperate Measures, Lizzie, and many more.
