Four Superheros find a new challenge in American Way.

TACOMA MUSICAL PLAYHOUSE presents the American Way, by Jeremy Gable, a virtual theatrical experience written by Jeremy Gable. American Way is the first full-length online production to come from Tacoma Musical Playhouse. American Way will stream Friday, June 12, at 7:30 PM. All proceeds will go to Tacoma Musical Playhouse. The author Jeremy Gable is planning for a Q & A after the show.

Faced with disappointing comic book sales, benefit packages and retirement, four superheroes take a break in their secret cafe to reminisce about the good old days. But when an unexpected tragedy hits the town, they are forced to deal with being powerless for the first time in their lives.

British born, Philadelphia based author Jeremy Gable, has been active in theatre in the Northwest and in Southern California for over 20 years, and has been described as “wickedly funny” by the L.A. Times. One of his stage plays D-Pad, was a finalist for the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Playwrights Conference,[14] and Go Ahead, was presented at the National New Play Network’s National Showcase of New Plays.[15]
