Autocorrect Thinks I’m Dead-Final Weekend Cancelled

Final weekend of Autocorrect CANCELLED

Sound Theatre patrons and community members, it is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we relay the news of the cancellation of the final weekend of performances of the world premiere production of Autocorrect Thinks I’m Dead.

At Sound Theatre, the health and safety of everyone involved in our work is one of our utmost priorities, and we are steadfast on adhering to COVID-19 protocols. Recent circumstances find Sound Theatre needing to prioritize the health, rest, and recovery of our Autocorrect company.

Our deepest gratitude to our practitioners who dedicated their talent and passion to this production. Your hard work and dedication to your craft and to the communities you represent have been stirring, and words alone can’t thank you enough for taking this journey with us.

To our community at large, please know this was a painful—but necessary—decision, and we regret any disappointment or inconvenience caused by this cancellation and are grateful for your understanding. We will be reaching out in the next few days on ways you can support us during this time, if you wish to do so.

We thank you for your ongoing support, and look forward to being in community with you in the future!

Sound Theatre understands that many ticket holders will need to request refunds at this time, yet as we honor these requests, we will also remain committed to paying everyone involved in this production.

As we’ve done for every production over the COVID-19 pandemic, all artists involved in Autocorrect Thinks I’m Dead will be fully compensated for the entire scheduled run, which means our financial commitments remain unchanged. For this reason, we hope you will help us uphold this commitment.

If you are a ticket holder for 9/28–30, you will have already received an email from us regarding your choice to recieve a refund or convert your ticket purchase to a donation. If you haven’t, please reach out to . We ask that you please contact us by October 15th.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! Together, we have created a beautiful play, and together, we will continue to thrive and grow.
