THE HOME…for the holidays is the second show in the Assisted Living series. As in its predecessor, 2 actors play a vaudevillian romp as 18 different characters. All reside at Pelican Roost, a very active retirement community where 70-something is the new 20-something…only with looser skin. The two productions have been performed nationally by the authors and by more than a dozen professional and community theatre troupes.
In this streamed production, taped before a live audience on November 7th, the two actors are accompanied by a 7-piece band under the direction of Jeremy Franklin Goodman.
There are no sad songs, no Depends jokes. The ASSISTED LIVING shows appeal to retirees, everyone who is contemplating retirement, and all who hope to grow old someday.
