Mt. St. Nothing to Live Stream December 19

There may be no best way to say good-bye to this dark, dark year, but the folks at Parley have a theatrical suggestion.  They are inviting us to log onto the presentation of a virtual reading of their original composition, Mount Saint Nothing.  The thought provoking premise has the last two people on earth stuck at the bottom of a ditch, with only some old newspapers and themselves do aid in their survival.  The promo tag claims the two must “forge a connection in a world that has…forgotten them entirely.”    The production features Drew David Combs who doubles as the playwright, Rebecca Tourino Collinsworth who doubles as the artistic director and Emily Pike who also is the guest director here. Parley is sponsored by Shunpike a group that supports independent arts in Washington.  The virtual reading will stream Saturday, December 19.  The team is requesting a $5 donation to help defray their production costs.  Interested in this unique invitation?  For more information go to https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_E2-5jDEgQ4KqLjtvUxyivg.
